Palm Springs Getting Ready for Modernism Week |

 San Francisco's favorite gay getaway, Palm Springs, is gearing up right now for Modernism Week, which runs February 16-26, 2012. While it's cold and rainy in San Francisco, it's sunny and warm in Palm Springs so the weather will not interfere with any last minute sprucing up for the 11-day celebration.
As previously reported, it's never been easier to get to Palm Springs from SFO. The fabulous Virgin America began flying to Palm Springs in December 2011.
Palm Springs is often described as a "living museum," by design dwellers and architecture enthusiasts who gather in Palm Springs to experience its mid-century modern architecture, especially during Modernism Week.
