Gay Travel: Exploring the Grand Canyon |

Ditching the car and exploring Arizona's Grand Canyon National Park using alternative forms of transportation - including two-legged, four-legged and wheeled modes - is surprisingly easy and affordable.
"Car-free can also mean stress-free, because travelers who take alternative modes of transportation spend more time taking in the scenery and less time watching the road," said Bruce Brossman, regional director of sales and marketing for Xanterra South Rim and Grand Canyon Railway.
"Between the National Park Service's free shuttle system and Xanterra's various transportation offerings, including Grand Canyon Railway, it is a simple matter to park the car and not return to it until the vacation is over."
