Fort Lauderdale Central To Popular LGBT Events |

 You probably already know Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a destination hot spot for fun under the sun and a place many in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community are happy to call home or their home away from home. But, did you know Fort Lauderdale is also central to many LGBT events?
Aside from the wildly popular pride events in Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, here are three more events that take place just a short drive away from Fort Lauderdale:

Gay Days is an annual event that takes place in Orlando, Florida - about 212 miles or a 3 to 4 hour drive from Fort Lauderdale. According to organizers, what started as a one day event about two decades ago, has grown to a week-long pride celebration that draws over 150,000 people from around the world.
