Gay Travel: Visiting Southwestern France |

 For those who love all things French or just enjoy the challenge of finding new places to explore come to the South West of France.
The climate is largely Mediterranean with warm showery springs and hot summers. Autumn is beautiful with bountiful harvests and winters that are short but cold. The Lot valley is known as the fruit basket of France. Orchards abound Kiwi, apple, cherry, plums of all varieties including those that the make the famous Pruneaux d'Agen.. Hazel nuts, wall nuts, soft fruits and seasonal vegetables all available at the daily markets held in the surrounding villages.
This region is famous for duck and goose products, charcuterie, cheeses like Cantal, Brebis and Roquefort made nearby. Not sure about foie gras? Visit the local museum and farm then decide for yourself.
